Stoeber to Lead 3D Playbook Product Development
8K Solutions added Mike Stoeber as Product Manager to lead development of its paradigm-shifting 3D Playbook. Stoeber, previously with the Jacksonville Jaguars, XOS Technologies and Pro Football Focus bring unique understanding to the team.
“Mike’s experience in the coaching video field as both a customer and vendor provides vital perspectives to fully realize this program’s potential to optimize practice for football teams,” said Bob White, chief revenue officer of 8K Solutions.
3D Playbook provides coaches a new way of analyzing an opponent in 3D space. Each play can be manipulated — from personnel on the field to motion — which is not possible with traditional video. Athletes work through plays and create valuable kinesthetic learning. Stoeber’s experience in product management and as a user to give the 3D Playbook team an advantage in program development.
“As an early tester of 3D Playbook, I was very impressed with 3D Playbook and could see the possibilities it holds for players and coaches,” said Stoeber.
Stoeber, an Army veteran, lives in Middleburg, Fla., and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He and wife, June, send their daughter Elizabeth and their money to the University of Florida.
